Studio Policies and Class Etiquette

Policies and Dress Code

At all times, students are expected to be polite to their teachers, parents and peers. Students who are disruptive in class or in waiting areas will be asked to leave until they are able to act appropriately.

Students are to arrive to the studio on time and be dressed per dress code. Cell phones are not tolerated in class. Students missing 6 or more classes are subject to exclusion from the annual performance. Call Danceworks Dance Centre today!

Be Respectful of Your Fellow Dancers

Respectful and polite behavior is expected at all times, while inside the studio. Family members and guests who are waiting for class to start or finish are asked to remain quiet and treat all faculty and parents with respect. Help us create a harmonious studio.

Water is the only beverage allowed in the classrooms. Water breaks may be given periodically by the instructor. Soda, juices, and other colored beverages are not permitted in the dance rooms.
  • No food or drink in the classrooms 
  • No cell phones in class
  • No gum

Class Dress Code

Everything you need is now available right at our on-site store, The One Stop Dance Shop. 

Proper dress is essential to the students comfort and should not inhibit the freedom of movement. Long hair must be pulled up for all classes.
